SPS 382.50(3)(b)3.3. Cold water shall be supplied to lavatories or sinks located in patient rooms.
SPS 382.50(3)(b)4.4. A hot water distribution system shall be under constant recirculation to provide continuous hot water at each hot water outlet, except that when using thermal disinfection, under subd. 6. a. uncirculated hot water distribution piping may not exceed 3 feet in developed length.
SPS 382.50(3)(b)4m.4m. Control valves shall automatically regulate the temperature of the water supply of the distribution system that exceeds 140°F to each fixture accessible to patients.
SPS 382.50(3)(b)5.5. Water provided to patient showers, therapeutic equipment and all types of baths shall be installed with pressure balanced and thermostatically controlled control valves which automatically regulate the temperature of the water supply to the fixture fitting outlet within a temperature range of 110°F to 115°F. Such control valves shall automatically reduce flow to 0.5 gpm or less when the water supply to the fitting outlet exceeds 115°F or when loss of cold water pressure occurs.

SPS 382.50(3)(b)8.8. Except as provided in subd. 7., a water distribution system may not be designed, installed and maintained so that the maximum temperature to fixture fitting outlets exceeds 180°F.
SPS 382.50(3)(b)9.9. Water outlets accessible to patients shall have laminar flow.
SPS 382.50(3)(b)10.10. Any portion of the water distribution system terminating by means of a plug, cap, or closed fitting and dry downstream with no outlet within the water distribution system may not exceed 6 pipe diameters.
SPS 382.50(3)(b)11.11. Where a dialysis box is installed in a patient room or a patient toilet room, all of the following shall apply:
SPS 382.50(3)(b)11.a.a. The dialysis box shall be lockable.
SPS 382.50(3)(b)11.b.b. Hose threads located within a lockable dialysis box used exclusively for the connection of portable dialysis equipment do not require a cross connection control device.
SPS 382.50(3)(b)11.c.c. A receptor located within a dialysis box shall be sealed when not in use.
SPS 382.50(3)(b)12.12. Hot water distribution piping shall be labeled with the disinfection method used. Labeling shall be within the water heater mechanical room on the hot water distribution piping at the point of injection, within 5 feet of the injection point, and every 25 feet thereafter within the mechanical room. The interior of all doors serving the mechanical room shall be labeled with the disinfection method. All label lettering shall be at least 1/2 inch height in clearly readable letters.
SPS 382.50(3)(b)13.13. Facilities with a population exceeding 250 occupants shall have a water management plan. The management plan shall include all of the following:

SPS 382.50(3)(c)(c) Adult day care centers. A water distribution system serving an adult day care center may not be designed, installed, or maintained so that the maximum water temperature to fixture fitting outlets accessible to participants exceeds 115°F.

SPS 382.51SPS 382.51Manufactured homes and manufactured home communities.
SPS 382.51(1)(1)Drain systems. Except as provided in pars. (a) and (b), the building sewers and private interceptor main sewers serving a manufactured home or manufactured home community shall comply with s. SPS 382.30.
SPS 382.51(1)(a)(a) The minimum slope of the aboveground building sewer shall be 1/8 inch per foot.
SPS 382.51(1)(b)(b) For manufactured homes, the most upstream point of the building sewer shall be determined at the connection with the building drain installed by the manufactured home manufacturer prior to delivery.
SPS 382.51(1)(c)(c) The above ground building sewer shall be constructed of materials suitable for above ground drain and vent as specified in s. SPS 384.30 (2) (a).
SPS 382.51(2)(2)Water supply systems.
SPS 382.51(2)(a)(a) Except as provided in pars. (b) and (c), the water services and private water mains for a manufactured home or manufactured home community shall comply with s. SPS 382.40.
SPS 382.51(2)(b)(b) The above ground water service shall be constructed of materials approved for water distribution as specified in s. SPS 384.30 (4) (e).
SPS 382.51(2)(c)(c) The curb stop serving an individual manufactured home shall terminate outside the perimeter of the manufactured home.
SPS 382.51(2)(d)(d) For manufactured homes, the most downstream point of the water service shall be determined at the connection with the water distribution piping by the manufactured home manufacturer prior to delivery.
SPS 382.51(2)(e)(e) The entire water supply system shall be designed for periodic flushing at a minimum velocity of 3 feet per second per ANSI/AWWA Standard C651, Table 3.
SPS 382.51(3)(3)Manufactured home connections.
SPS 382.51(3)(a)(a) Frost sleeves for plumbing serving a manufactured home shall conform to all of the following:
SPS 382.51(3)(a)1.1. Water service and building sewer connections shall be provided with frost sleeves extending to within 6 inches of the top of the below ground horizontal building sewer or water service, or to a depth at least 6 inches below the predicted depth of frost in accordance with Table 382.30-6.
SPS 382.51(3)(a)2.2. The frost sleeve shall terminate at least 2 inches above grade.
SPS 382.51(3)(a)3.3. The sleeve shall be constructed of material approved for building drain or building sewer material as specified in s. SPS 384.30 (2).
SPS 382.51(3)(b)(b) Termination of the water service and building sewer shall conform to all of the following:
SPS 382.51(3)(b)1.1. The manufactured home water service for connection to the manufactured home shall terminate a minimum of 6 inches above the surrounding finished grade.
SPS 382.51(3)(b)2.2. The manufactured home building sewer for connection to the manufactured home shall terminate a minimum of 4 inches above the surrounding finished grade and may not terminate higher than the water service.
SPS 382.51(3)(c)(c) The manufactured home water service and building sewer shall be capped or plugged when not connected to a manufactured home.

SPS 382.60SPS 382.60Pipe hangers and supports. The provisions of this section control the types, materials and installation of anchors, hangers and supports for plumbing piping.
SPS 382.60(1)(1)Material.
SPS 382.60(1)(a)(a) Strength. Hangers, anchors and supports for piping shall be of sufficient strength to support the piping and its contents. Drain piping shall be considered as being full of water. Underground piers for pipe support shall be of concrete, masonry, plastic or pressure treated wood.
SPS 382.60(1)(b)(b) Compatibility.
SPS 382.60(1)(b)1.1. Hangers and straps shall be of a compatible material that will reduce the potential for galvanic action with the piping.
SPS 382.60(1)(b)2.2. Hangers and straps may not distort, cut or abrade piping.
SPS 382.60(2)(2)Installation.
SPS 382.60(2)(a)(a) Piping hangers and anchors shall be securely attached to the building’s structure at intervals to support the piping and its contents, but not at intervals greater than those specified in Table 382.60, except PVC used for venting may have a maximum horizontal spacing of 5 feet. The connection of drain piping to a fixture or appliance shall be considered a point of support.
SPS 382.60(2)(b)(b) Hubless pipe installed in the horizontal position shall be supported within 24” on each side of a joint, unless the joint has an alignment retaining shield.
SPS 382.60(2)(c)(c) Hangers shall not be attached to a building’s structure by means of wood plugs.
SPS 382.60(2)(d)(d) Shower valves and piping from the shower valve to the shower head outlet shall be securely attached to the structure.

SPS 382.70(1)(1)Purpose. The purpose of this section is to establish plumbing treatment standards for plumbing systems that supply water to outlets based on the intended use.
SPS 382.70(2)(2)Scope. The provisions of this section apply to plumbing systems that supply water to outlets.

SPS 382.70(3)(3)General requirements. A plumbing system shall supply water that is of a quality that will protect public health and the waters of the state and be suitable for the intended use.

SPS 382.70(4)(4)Minimum requirements.
SPS 382.70(4)(a)(a) Except as provided under par. (b), a plumbing system shall supply a quality of water at the outlet or at the termination of the plumbing system that meets or exceeds the minimum requirements as specified in Table 382.70-1.
SPS 382.70(4)(b)(b) For an outlet other than a plumbing fixture, appliance or appurtenance, there may be more stringent requirements assigned by a municipality, governmental unit, state agency or the owner of the plumbing system.
SPS 382.70(5)(5)Nonpotable water treatment devices and systems. Devices or equipment used to treat nonpotable water for the uses specified in Table 382.70-1 shall be listed under NSF/ANSI 350 or NSF/ANSI 350-1 by an ANSI accredited, third-party, listing agency acceptable to the department; or be approved by the department in accordance with s. SPS 384.50.
SPS 382.70(5)(a)(a) Design and installation. The design and installation of nonpotable water treatment devices and systems shall conform to s. SPS 382.34 (3) (a) and include:
SPS 382.70(5)(a)1.1. ‘Maintenance and inspection.’ A maintenance log shall be created and kept by the system owner and remain onsite. The maintenance log shall be available for inspection upon request and contain the following minimum information:
